You should post here the information to start, stop and restart various services and paths to important files and logs.

Restart Services:

To Restart INETD (DO THIS WHEN YOU GET "NO CONNECTION TO PORT 110" OR "RELAYING DENIED")

1. ps aux | grep inetd
2. /bin/kill -s HUP "process ID"

TO GRACEFULLY RESTART APACHE

1. /www/bin/apachectl graceful
2. or just "apachectl graceful"

TO RESTART OTHER PROCESSES

HTTP
stop-apache
start-apache

FTP
stop-ncftpd
start-ncftpd

SMTP
ps auxww|grep -i sendmail | grep -v grep | awk '{print $2}'|xargs kill -9
/usr/sbin/sendmail -bd -q15m &

POP3
ps auxww|grep -i inetd | grep -v grep | awk '{print $2}'|xargs /bin/kill -s HUP

FIX SERVER WHEN IT DOES NOT COME UP IN THE BROWSER (HTTPD RESTART)

Type:
killall httpd
start-apache

See if the web server came up. If not then type:
cd /www/logs
tail -20 error_log

And it should explain any problems.
